SureProof (“we,” “us,” or “our”) strives to deliver accurate, timely, and professional verification services. This Refund Policy outlines when users (“you”) are eligible for a refund and how refund requests are processed.

Refund Eligibility
Refunds are issued only in specific circumstances where SureProof is unable to produce a final determination on your uploaded content. A “final determination” refers to a clear verdict of human-created, AI-generated, or inconclusive due to insufficient data.
Refunds are available under the following conditions:

Inconclusive Result: If SureProof cannot confidently reach a conclusion after full analysis.

Duplicate Payment: If a transaction was accidentally processed more than once.

Technical Failure: If a file upload or report delivery fails and cannot be recovered.
Refunds are not issued for user dissatisfaction, disagreement with a verdict, or incorrect file submissions.
Refund Process
To request a refund:

Email contact@sureproof.org with your order ID or report reference number.

Include a short explanation and proof of payment.

Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of report delivery.
Each case is reviewed by a SureProof analyst. If the report is confirmed as inconclusive or otherwise eligible, a full refund will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout (Wix Payments, Stripe, or PayPal).
Refunds typically process within 5–10 business days after approval.
Appeal Reviews
If you disagree with a verdict, you may request an appeal review.
An appeal triggers a secondary review by a different analyst or forensic expert panel.
Appeal reviews may carry an additional fee, but if the second review reverses the original decision, the fee and the original payment are fully refunded.
Subscription Refunds
Monthly subscriptions renew automatically and are billed in advance.
Refunds for subscriptions are available only if:

SureProof fails to provide reports or access within the billing period, or

Submitted files remain undecided/inconclusive after review.
Users who cancel a subscription retain access to services until the end of their current billing cycle. Refunds are not issued for unused days or partial usage once analysis has begun.
Turnaround and Delays
Standard delivery times are:

Basic / Professional: 24–48 hours

Enterprise / Institutional: 24–72 hours
If a report exceeds 72 hours due to internal delay or system backlog, users may request a credit or full refund.
Refund eligibility for delays will be determined on a case-by-case basis.
Re-Review and Verification
Before refund approval, SureProof may re-evaluate the uploaded file to verify that:

No technical errors caused the inconclusive result, and
-
The AI detection and human review systems were properly executed.
This ensures that refunds are issued fairly and only when warranted.
Non-Refundable Situations
Refunds will not be issued in the following cases:

User disagreement with a valid, completed verdict.

Files found to violate laws, contain malicious code, or infringe intellectual property.

Services already delivered according to tier specifications (Basic, Professional, Enterprise, or Institutional).

Cases where more than 7 days have passed since delivery.
